Research On The Application Of Time Bank Mutual Elderly Care In Community

China has entered the aging society and on the stage of accelerated aging situation.The current pattern of growth of China’s population has shown a low birth rate, lowdeath rate, low growth rate trend. This trend will form the pension burden more heavyin the future.Meanwhile, the sevice of old people who lost one-child, widows andorphans and disabled elderly has arouse more attraction. How to innovate in the agedservice mode to adapt to these changes in the city community is worth considering.The time bank produced “the second kind of money” by the exchange of time,converts time as special resources which is fair to everybody enjoys into some entityservices, It is somehow feasible be applied in the community elderly services.This paper introduces how time banks apply the mutual support applications inpension service of domestic and foreign community, researching on the theoreticalbasis of the application from theoretical perspectives of social capital and socialexchange, analyses the motivation of its representative model-Guangzhou YuexiuDistrict pension service saving system, via the investigation of Guangzhou YuexiuDistrict pension service saving system, shows that the participants formed a goodincentive mechanism with a high satisfaction at the operation of the system. At last,bysynthesize the experience and lessons of time banks at home and abroad in old-ageservice application, corresponding suggestions are put forward.
