Urbanization is to promote the various countries and regions i mpor tant path of economic a nd social devel opment, is also an importa nt symbol of national moderni zation degree. Measure the level of urbanizat ion is an i mportant point is that a large number of rural population converted to urban population, and through t he citizeniza tion process gradually re alize the integration with the city.More than 30 years of reform and opening-up, our country urbanizat ion fast development, but also exist a series of problems. For example,demographic divi dend r eduction and eliminat ion of limited land resources, making our extensive promote ur banization development mode l inc reasingly difficult t o walk; Signifi cant shortages of infra str ucture and public utiliti es also hamper our Urbanization; Emphasis on t he development of t owns and ignore huma n urbanization makes migr ant workers into the city difficult, even caused many soci al problems. The sta tisti cs show that China’s current migrant workers have reached 260 million. Although t hese migrant workers in the urba nization rate is statistical indicators for ur ban popula tion, but in fact most of them did not realize the r eal int o the city. This suggests t hat the original patter n of ur banization has not ma tched the country’s industriali zation proc ess, but also with the r apid economic and social development are i ncompatibl e, Chinese urbanization has been the need t o mar k the transi tion. Put away the party’s 18 new urbaniza tion, new ur banization connotation is extremely rich, but its core is a human urbanization. That is, by taking a new road of urbanizat ion, migrant promote stable employment and stable housi ng and urbanization, lifestyle, real people, thus achieving full integration into t he significance of the city.This article fr om a sociological perspective, first of all from the t own of domest ic and foreign research theory, development model, main proble ms and since the reformand opening up practice of domestic academi c circles to the new urbanization theory r esearc h and expl oration of some provinces, this pape r analyzes the connotat ion and characte ris tics of new type of urbanization, and China’s r eform and opening up 30years(ie, before the proposed new urbaniza tion s trategy) ur banization historical experience and problems are summarized, put s forward the core issue of China ’s ur banization is to solve the problem of the c ity into the migrant workers, the peasant migra nt workers view of the problem. Second in China’s largest municipality directly under the centra l government of Chongqi ng for case study, from the land system, the house hold registration system and public services such as obstacles t o the three major bottleneck of citizenization of migrant worker s, analysi s the mai n institutional factors affecting the urban migrant workers into, and Chongqing in recent years in the br eakthr ough of the three bottlenecks, promote the reform of new urbanization and ur banization of rur al migrant worker s practice experience, explore the new ur banization s trategy of accord with the characteristics of Chongqing area and the strategy of urbanization of rural migrant workers. Again, this paper use s the author parti cipate in 2013 by t he Chongqi ng academy of social sciences instit ute of soc iology led a study of Chongqing and Chongqing in the west region of migrant worker s and res ident s ZhuanHu sampling survey results, as migrant workers,demands and expe ctations to the e valuation of urbaniz ation, urbanizat ion and makes a statistic analysis on the soc ial psychology such as vision. Finally, based on the above analysi s, puts forward the implementation of the new development strategy of ur banization promote the urbanizat ion of rural migrant workers a series of countermeasures and suggesti ons.
