In order to optimize the allocation of the water resource in China,South-tonorth Water Transfer Project is another large national strategic engineering after the scale of the Three Gorges Project.Not only is the economic and social benefits,but also a large number of reservoir immigrants.Based on the involuntary relocation of reservoir immigrants,the relocation easily causes the anxiety.To pay attention to the social adaptation of these people in the immigrant village,this paper chooses a village named “Y” as the case study.The theoretical support of this paper is Pierre Bourdieu’s “field theory”,using questionnaire and depth interview as the method of investigation.Describe the current social adaptation of reservoir immigrants from three aspects: daily life,economic and interpersonal relationship.This paper is divided into six chapters.Which introduces the origin,the research status,the purpose and the significance,the framework and the object of the research is the first chapter.The second chapter introduces the general situation of Y village and the object of investigation. Third, fourth and the fifth chapters are the descriptions of the social adaptability of the survey object, followed by three levels:daily life, economy and interpersonal relationship, and separately summarizes these three aspects of social adaptation strategy.The sixth chapter is conclusion,which points out the non-synchrony of immigration in three aspects,and then points out the commonness of social adaptive strategy,and also points out the insufficiency of this research.
