The problem of left-behind children in rural areas is a result of urbanization and a significant problem in Chinese social and economic transition. Since their parents in the c i t y, t h e l e f t- b e h i n d c h i l d r e n a r e l a c k o f d i s c i p l i n e a n d s u p e r v i s i o n o f parents, psychological performance is inferior, the action performance is free.In recent years, the "left-behind children" in rural life, learning, psychological aspects of the problem has been brought into public attention, which get very good solve this problem, not only the relationship between the children healthy growth, the relationship between the construction of the social. Therefore, we need to know more about the lives of children left’s behind, psychological reality, which use the professional social work methods involved in the left-behind children work, to solve the left-behind children behavior problems.In my paper, the left-behind children were investigated in Gaohuang primary school, which using the method of questionnaire investigation, interviews and other research methods to understand the status of behavior deviation and 121 children left behind in the Baofeng County of Henan province.On the basis of literature research and in-depth interviews of the material as the basis, which analysis, argumentation and interpretation of the behavior of the children left behind deviation problem in rural areas, which reveals the rural left-behind children behavior problems, we can explore the root causes of deep formation of rural left-behind children behavior problems from their own, the family, school and community four aspects, which seeks the solution strategy and method of the rural left behind children’s behavior problems, to prevent deviation of rural left-behind children psychology and behavior, so that they can grow up healthy and happy, let the parents makes the contribution for the city construction and local economic development. On the basis of investigation and research, I want to choose a behavior deviation children, from the perspective of social work intervention,the case understand the rural left-behind children of small W’s living environment, which try to help rural left-behind children deviation of small W to solve the learning behavior and the behavior of its own existence, to alleviate the difficulties faced by small W. By the end of the small W casework intervention process of reflection, which summed up the achievements and the existing problems, and to help more rural left-behind children and contribute to the study of the localization of social work in the field.Social work is to promote one of the effective ways to solve the problem of children left behind. On the basis of understanding of the problems and realities of the children left behind, to the concept of social work as a guide, to study how the application of social work, the approach to the solution to the problem of children left behind, the theoretical and practical significance.Combining field survey and practice experience, the author has a reflection on development strategies of social work in left-behind children problem. Resources like governments, non-governmental organizations, communities, schools and families can make efforts to the growth and development of these children. Practice has proved that social work can effectively solve the problems that left-behind children encounter in their growing process and is an important approach to promote family and social harmony.
