With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization,a large number of young and middle-aged laborers in China have moved to cities,resulting in a large number of rural left-behind children.The lack of parental companionship and caring has made the safety of left-behind children in rural areas increasingly prominent,attracting the attention of people from all walks of life.Caring for rural left-behind children is not only the responsibility of the government,schools,and families,but also the responsibility of every citizen.The solution to the safety of left-behind children in rural areas is conducive to the happiness of the family,to the harmony and stability of the society,and to the long-term development of the country.Taking B village in Changle District of Fuzhou as an example,this study uses literature methods,interviews,observation methods and other methods to investigate the current situation of the safety problems of left-behind children in B village and their existing needs,and a safety education group focusing on rural left-behind children was designed based on this.Research shows that relying on professional theory,using professional social work methods and techniques,integrating community resources,and carrying out safety education groups can effectively help children in B village to enrich their safety knowledge,improve safety awareness,enhance safety skills,and help rural left-behind children,and help Left-behind children in rural areas grow up healthily and happily.At the end of the study,it also analyzed the inadequacies in the intervention process,and carried out reflections,learned lessons,and proposed the solutions to the safety of left-behind children in rural areas from the perspective of social work and four aspects of government,society,schools and families.
