Policing activities of complexity and dynamic requirements establish and improve the police performance evaluation mechanism, to strengthen communication between organizations and individuals, strengthen the organization’s values and improve police work enthusiasm. In the police, the police performance evaluation is one of the most important part of, directly affect the quality of the police department police service and the police individual satisfaction. Therefore, fair and effective performance evaluation is particularly important. Police job satisfaction is the key factors that influence its performance evaluation, the satisfaction of the high and low will be related directly to the police performance appraisal fairness, effectiveness and dynamic.This study is to survey research and data analysis methods, such as management, psychology, and public security, based on the theory of multidisciplinary cross in C Y branch 459 police as the research object, with the help of a short-term scale preparation of police work of Minnesota satisfaction questionnaire for data collection, using statistical analysis software SPSS to analyze the data processing, study: demography variables influence on police work satisfaction and its factors, and the following main conclusions:1. The police overall job satisfaction in the medium level; 2. The police job satisfaction on different demographic variables have different levels of difference; 3. The police work satisfaction degree of each factor on the demographic variables exist significant difference; 4. The demographic variables and the police there is relationship between job satisfaction of each factor.According to the above research conclusion, combining the reality of the current police performance appraisal work, get the following enlightenment:1. Should be timely performance expected communication between superiors and subordinates; 2. Should let the police to have the opportunity to participate in the evaluation process; 3. Should let more police individuals’ participation in goal setting; 4. The assessors should be treated in training; 5. Should work with the actual performance for assessment basis; 6. Should be tailored to a comprehensive evaluation system.
