After the Third Plenary Session, China has entered the era of reform and opening up. With the tide of economy, urbanization in China has been developed rapidly, and the influx of migrant workers has made great contributions to the China’s economy. However, it also brings a lot of social phenomena: Issues of agriculture, farmer and rural area, the left-behind elderly, the left-behind women, the left-behind children, etc. The " left-behind children " issues have become increasingly prominent. Left-behind children is the special product of urban-rural dual economic structure in the economic transition. With the limit of money, China’s urban and rural household registration system and other objective reasons, The migrant parents have to leave their children in the domicile raising by grandparents and relatives. According to the latest statistics of China Women’s Federation in 2010, the total number of left-behind children in rural areas is about 61.0255 million, it account for about 37.7% of the local children and 21.88% of children nationwide. Compared to those children with complete family structure, the physical and spiritual aspects of left-behind children are not met, personal safety and education are not guaranteed. The problem of academic, security, affection and psychology affect their healthy growth seriously. The emergency of the group of left-behind children is only a unique problem during the social transformation of China, but also gradually become a major social problem.The author had a conversation with the left-behind children in Junior High School of Y Town. According to the actual situation of the left-behind children, the author analyzes the problems of left-behind children from the government, combining the data of random sampling and interview. In order to give a better solution to the problem of left-behind children, the author gives suggestions to families, schools, government and the society, so that children can live happier, grow up more healthy and develop in an all-around way. Eventually, it can effectively promote the steady progress of China’s socialist career.
