Research On The Problem Of Rural Villagers Autonomy In China Under Marx’s Democratic Ideas

The village self-governance in China’s countryside is a mass democratic system at the grass-roots level and an important system for the building of a new countryside, which is also a fundamental project in the construction of our country’s democratic politics based on the Marxist thought on democracy. Marxist thought on democracy is of great significance to the establishment of our country’s village self-governance system, such as Marxist thought on democracy provides theoretical guidance for village self-governance; Marxist thought on democracy offers the realistic basis for the implementation of village self-governance.The great achievement of village self-governance in China’s countryside is that under CCP’s leadership, more than 1 billion people build the socialist democratic politics. Thus village self-governance basically conforms to the relevant laws of the development of our country’s socialism and countryside’s practical conditions. Our country’s village self-governance system develops from immaturity to maturity, during which time the village self-governance system achieves a lot as well as has a lot of problems:discordance between two committees in the village and town government; formalization of villager election; lack of supervision and communication mechanism in an effective way; morbidity of financial system. All of them have deep-level reasons.Based on the problems in village self-governance, the countermeasures should be explored under Marxist thought on democracy; the legal awareness and law consciousness as well as laws and regulations should be perfected in village self-governance; the rural economic development should be accelerated to lay economic foundations for self-governance; various relations and functions concerning the village self-governance should be conducted; the village committee should be guided and assisted to actively develop economy; the working system concerning the village committee should be established and regulated; the development of rural politics and culture should be promoted.
