Research On The Inner-party Inspection System Of The Communist Party Of China

Today’s world is of international vicissitudes and China is confronted with increasingly complex international environment. At the same time, as China is striving to comprehensively deepen reform and implement the principle of cultural diversity and contending, whether China can take full advantage of this important period of strategic opportunities and great possibilities to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation depends on the leadership of the Communist Party of China. Therefore, the Party’s construction is of great importance. The presentation and improvement of the inner-party inspection system is an important manifestation that the Communist Party of China consciously strengthens self-construction. The implementation of this system is of important significance for the Party to strengthen self-supervision, combat corruption, ensure incorruptibility and cleanness of the Party and improve the party’s governing ability and credibility.This article consists of five parts. The first part is an introduction, mainly representing the significance of the topic, the domestic and overseas research status of inspection system and other related systems, and research methods and innovations herein. The second part is a basic overview of the inner-party inspection system of the Communist Party of China, defining the concepts of the inner-party inspection system through the concepts of investigation, inspection and inspection system, from historic perspective discussing the evolution of the Party’s inner-party inspection system, especially the new development after the 18 th CPC National Congress, and pointing out the role of the inner-party inspection system. The third part sets forth the main content of the inner-party inspection system of the Communist Party of China, represents the subjects, objects, purpose, task, procedure, methods, principle and assessment and concludes four characteristics of the inner-party inspection system including varied supervision subjects, definite supervision objects, prominent supervision content and various supervision methods. The fourth part describes the current status of the inner-party inspection system, summarizing both its achievements in terms of institutional system, operational progress and inspection effectiveness and its deficiencies in terms of inspection officers, incentive safeguards, usage of results and local inspection, as well as analyzing the reasons for the deficiencies. The fifth part gives specific ways to improve the inner-party inspection system including further strengthening inspection team building, perfecting systems and laws on inspection, innovating theories and methods on inspection, and expediting local inspections.In short, this article discusses the history of the Communist Party of China’s inner-party inspection system, analyzes and summarizes its new development, new features, new achievements as well as its deficiencies after the 18 th CPC National Congress, and thus proposes specific ways to further improve the inner-party inspection system so as to contribute to the development of the theory and practice of inspection system.
