At present, the population aging phenomenon is spreading from developed to countries developing countries, aging will soon become a major problem in developing countries. China, the world’s most populous country, with the rapid social and economic development, people’s living standards are improving, the average life expectancy increasing, the proportion of the elderly population is growing, the early 21 st century will be China’s aging population fastest-growing period. China’s aging population lead to economic development, with the "old before getting rich" feature, also accompanied by family size miniaturization and empty nest, life of the elderly have little protection. The Chinese government attaches great importance to and solve problem of aging population, and establish a sense of security, old medical care, old teach, old school, worthiness, old music development goals. Chinese Elderly welfare study spatial variation, for a clear understanding of the distribution of the welfare status of the elderly in China, local conditions to develop the cause of aging and achieve coordinated development of national well-being of the elderly has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the well-being of geography concepts and theories, based on China Statistical Yearbook(2013), the provinces Statistics Yearbook(2013), using SPSS and Arc Gis software, measured objectively well-being of China’s provinces, cities and municipalities, the elderly, and conducted a geographic spatial variation analysis, summarize the main factors of its spatial variation of formation.The main findings of this article are:First, a comprehensive analysis of existing research on the basis of combining the characteristics and needs of the elderly in China, the China Construction welfare evaluation index system from four aspects of social well-being of the elderly, economic well-being and ecological well-being, subjective satisfaction. Social welfare indicators were four aspects living conditions, traffic conditions, culture and entertainment, health care expansion, economic well-being indicators of income and consumption levels from two aspects, the ecological well-being indicators from the atmospheric environment, water environment and land environment three sails aspects.Second, the 2013 objective and well-being of Chinese elderly measurements show that the spatial distribution of the total well-being of differentiation was East West trend, overall well-being of the highest level of Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, located in China’s eastern coastal areas. Social welfare and economic well-being of similar spatial distribution, also showed a trend of East West, spatial distribution of ecological well-being of different characteristics, the highest score in Qinghai, Tibet, Gansu and other western provinces, the lowest in Shanxi, Hebei, the northern province of Inner Mongolia.Third, the provinces objective well-being of older persons and the elderly dependency ratio of the total score combined, divided the country into seven categories in the region of a high-low(Guangdong), school type(Zhejiang, Henan, Shandong), high type(Jiangsu, Sichuan), the medium(Gansu, Yunnan, Guangxi, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Heilongjiang, Fujian, Tianjin, Jilin, Shaanxi, Beijing, Hubei, Jiangxi, Anhui, Hunan, Liaoning, Shanghai, Hebei), whispered type(Tibet, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang), low medium(Hainan, Guizhou), low-height(Chongqing).Fourth, economic factors, government policies, social support, spatial differentiation of the ecological environment are the main factors causing China spatial variation of the well-being of older persons.
