Research On The Spatial Layout Of Nanjing Old-age Service Facilities In The Context Of Population Aging

The population aging has become one of the most important social problems in the world.According to "China aging development report(2013)",2013 is China's first growth peak of the elderly population.The number of elderly population has exceeded the 200 million,which indicates that China is facing a serious aging phenomenon.In early 1990s,population above 60 years old in Nanjing accounted for 10.2%of the total population,indicating the Nanjing become the aging region,10 years earlier than the whole country.Under the severe aging background,the development of pension service industry is an important task of the current social construction in china.The accessibility of the service facilities has become a social equity issue.Using pension service facilities as the research main body is relatively less.One is to evaluate the content and development of pension service facilities from the angle of social status,quality of service,put forward the current pension problems and solutions;on the other hand,analyzing layout of spatial difference and influence from data to the quantitative number of facilities and the number of beds,on the whole,lack the study of pension service facilities distribution case from the angle of accessibility.Based on the study of population aging in Nanjing city under the background of space allocation of pension service facilities are analyzed.Based on the fifth and the sixth census points township streets data of Nanjing City,firstly,we analyze the difference in the degree of aging population,spatial difference,center of gravity migration and spatial correlation using the spatial analysis method at scales of streets and circle,then explore the elderly population spatial distribution pattern in Nanjing city streets.The results show:1)In nearly 10 years,Nanjing street aging coefficient showed a "leap sprawl spread" trend.2)The density of the elderly population in the street is high.Secondly,we study the spatial layout of the pension service facilities on different scale from the angle of number and size,then the Nanjing city pension services supply and demand were analyzed using the two-step mobile search method.The results show:1)The overall distribution of the pension service facilities in Nanjing presents a "central agglomeration-periphery dispersion" trend;The spatial hotspot distribution is both of sprawl spread and imbalanced diffusion.2)Different types of pension service facilities has the different space layout mode.3)Nanjing pension service facilities accessibility represents southeast high and northwest low at the central city,north high south low at the main city areas,south high north low at the suburb areas.Finally,we analyze the pension service facilities supply and demand factors from three aspects:the elderly population characteristics,spatial distribution characteristics,economic and social development level.We analyze the facility layout factors from government factors,environmental factors and traffic factors.
