Research On The Normalized Development Path For The Voluntary Organizations To Participate In Providing Service In Nanjing City Community

Since the new spirit “comprehensively deepening reforms” has been greatly emphasizedat the third plenary session of the18thCPC (Communist Party of China), the overall planningfor economy and social development, the improvement of people’s sense of security andwell-being, the maintenance of social stability have become the core issues of the innovationof providing social service. Community is the basic union of the society. Providingcommunity service is closely linked with people’s daily life, which has been regarded as thebase and the key point in improving the social management. Now, the practice of providingcommunity service has contributed rich practical experience to the decision of“comprehensively deepening reforms”, such as in the realm of reforming social managementsystem (reconstructing the relationship between government and society), cultivating thesocial organizations (promoting the development of civil society), expanding the participationof citizens (setting up the public spirit and the sense of participation), and so on.Voluntary organization is a vital part of social organization. At present, the communityservice provided by the voluntary organization is indispensable to the public service incommunity, which not only satisfies the basic needs of the community residents, plays a greatrole in solving the social contradictions, advocating sound social morality, but also lays solidfoundation for building the harmonious society.
