Since the Third Plenary Session of rapid economic development,democratic awareness of farmers increased, and constantly improve thelevel of political participation, which greatly promoted the developmentof democracy. However, constrained by economic, political, and culturalfactors, the current mechanism of the expression of interest is still flawed,non-institutionalized political participation events have occurred farmer,expanding trend in recent years. Clan forces farmers to adopt interference,bribery, violence against extreme masochistic, leapfrog petition and othernon-institutionalized forms of political participation to express theirinterests and aspirations, is bound to affect the harmonious developmentof rural society, a serious impediment to the development of ourdemocracy. Therefore, the current status of the farmers ofnon-institutionalized political participation in the investigation, and thenanalyzes the influencing factors, propose effective countermeasures, has very important theoretical and practical value.Paper selected for the study of farmers in Wenzhou, Wenzhou islocated in the economic frontier, the higher the level of democratization,the effectiveness of democracy-building development of the localeconomy nurturing role.
