As an agricultural country,"Agriculture, Countryside and Farmer" issues are the foundation of China, which means affluent farmers lead to affluent country. With the gradually deepened rural reform, development and transition of rural economy as well as the impetus of industrialization and urbanization, original villages of China are experiencing the transition to rural communities by means of modification or reconstruction. Our construction of new socialist rural community is an important approach to implement the concept of scientific development, integrate urban with rural development and promote all-round well-off society. Different from the general construction of new socialist countryside, the construction of new rural communities, associating with all aspects of rural and providing strong support of rural development, is a focus of the current and future rural work. In recent years, under the leadership of the party and government, the construction of new rural communities, has made a great contribution to the development of China’s economy and society. However, in the construction of new rural communities, there are still many problems, some officials lacking of awareness of the depth of community building, inadequate economic support and enthusiasm of the public participation and so on. Therefore, further improving the construction of new rural communities is a problem to be solved.The paper is mainly divided into the following five parts. The first part is an introduction, mainly explaining the background, significance, content and methods of this research; the second part mainly explains the community, rural communities and new rural communities, analyzing the background and development of new rural communities; the third part is about the necessity and feasibility of construction of new rural communities, which is an entry point of this article; the fourth part is the construction status quo, plight and problems to be faced of new rural community; the fifth part is the end result of the paper, putting forward countermeasures and suggestions on new rural communities construction problems.
