With the further development of urbanization, more and more villages in Zhangjiakou have been merged and reconstructed, and many communities have emerged, such as "village-to-house" and "village-to-house" communities.Village committees have gradually transformed into "neighborhood committees",forming a new type of residential community,in which farmers have transformed into residents, participated in community construction and developed community governance. It directly affects the construction of modern social governance system. However, the construction of new rural communities has its particularity and complexity. The insufficiency of rural residents' participation in the new rural community governance seriously hinders the development of the community, thus hindering the construction of the modern social governance system.Combining the particularity of the new rural community "Yicheng Yicun" and "Yixiangyicheng",it is of great significance to explore the factors affecting rural residents' participation in the governance of the new rural community.Only by clarifying the influencing factors of residents' participation in community governance, can effective countermeasures and suggestions be put forward,so as to promote residents' participation and promote the continuous development of "village to residence" community.Taking Xishungou Village of Zhangjiakou City as an example, this paper studies the participation of rural residents in the construction of new rural communities.Taking community residents as the research object, the paper collects sample data by literature research, questionnaire survey, field interview and unstructured interview, and makes qualitative analysis by induction and deduction, abstraction and generalization, and reconstructs the relevant concepts in the paper. It is found that the problems of rural residents participating in the construction of new rural communities in Zhangjiakou include: In policy planning, attention is paid to the degree and overall planning is insufficient;the transition characteristics of new rural communities are obvious, the rights and abilities of management units are limited, the policy propaganda is not in place, and the participation of farmers is insufficient due to the lack of opportunities for participation;the aging of rural communities leads to insufficient motivation for participation, villagers generally distrust village cadres, and the integration problems caused by the leap-forward development of new farmers. The main results are as follows:Firstly, gender, age, education level, marital status and average family income of rural residents will affect their willingness to participate in the construction of new rural communities. In addition, due to the aging problem, their educational level is low,so they can not express their intention properly, and even affect their participation in the construction of new rural communities to a certain extent.Secondly, the understanding of the new rural community construction will directly affect whether they have the opportunity to participate in the new rural community construction. Some rural residents still retain the village living habits,do not know much about the new rural community, and the support situation and the results of accepting policy propaganda have a certain impact.Thirdly, rural residents who want to engage in community construction-related professions, have participated in village committees or have managerial experience have a higher degree of recognition of new rural communities and a relatively strong intention to participate in community construction. On this basis, the author puts forward some countermeasures to solve the problem.
