Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of Colleges And Universities Democratic Parties Members’ Ideological Construction

By virtue of their identity as political parties, democratic parties have been an organicpart of the system of multi-party cooperation under the leadership of the CPC. Along with theincrease of members of democratic parties among the faculty and staff in colleges anduniversities, the proportion of them continues to grow. Therefore, doing a good job indemocratic parties in colleges and universities, especially doing good work in ideologicalconstruction of democratic parties, is of great importance in promoting the work of UnitedFront of higher learning, as well as the self-development of democratic parties at universities.We need to put emphasis on the ideological construction of the democratic parties incolleges and universities. First of all, we need to clarify the concept of ideologicalconstruction of the democratic parties, which mainly refers to that the aim of the democraticparties is to improve the political quality and moral level of members of democratic parties incolleges and universities, and to enhance the consensus in the construction of socialism withChinese characteristics, and to deepen the understanding of the political party’s status, natureand historical mission in China’s political pattern, and to teach the political theories to themembers of the democratic parties in colleges and universities, and to lay a solid ideologicalfoundation for the self-development of the democratic parties and for the CPC-led multi-partycooperation system. Secondly, we need to analyze the current ideological construction statusof the democratic parties in colleges and universities, and get the positive and negativefeatures of the members of democratic parties in colleges and universities, such as the healthymainstream ideology, strong sense of responsibility, plural value orientation, impureideological motives, and so on. Thirdly, we need to realize that the guiding ideology lacksfeatures in ideological construction of the democratic parties in colleges and universities atpresent, and some of the new party members’ ideological political quality is not high, themechanism of ideological construction is not enough, and we will analyze the three aspectswhich cause the above problems, namely the lack of understanding the importance of theconstruction of the ideological work, the lack of innovation in ideological construction andlack of the effective evaluation mechanism. Finally, with the help of the theory of the UnitedFront, Marx’s party construction theory, Marx’s party construction theory, we combine withthe work of ideological construction of the democratic parties in colleges and universities, anddraw the conclusion that we need to build a consciousness system from the aspects of politicalconsciousness, political party consciousness, consciousness, sense of dedication and corevalues; we need to innovate the work methods by enriching ideological construction activities,creating ideological construction network platform; we need to build the work mechanism,this improving the effectiveness of ideological construction of the democratic parties incolleges and universities.
