Retired Athletes Social Security Research Based On The Hierarchy Of Needs Theory

In China, sports career is inseparable from the efforts of this special group of athletes. At the Olympic Games, Chinese athletes will perfect complete the arduous task of the "Olympic Glory", brought honor to the country and the people, and their precious youth was dedicated for this purpose. They highlight the personal values of socialism and collectivism.Social welfare of athletes has always valued the attention of State, and given a certain amount of benefits in all aspects, to a certain extent, these measures encourage the enthusiasm of the athletes, pushing forward the development of China’s sports. However, with the continuous progress of China’s market economy, the country’s social security system is constantly improving, but many social welfare and security measures of athletes lagged behind the development of society, it is in stark contrast compared with high-risk sports, and high investment. For the above situation, this article first work and conclusions are summarized as follows:(1) Review of the development of social security of retired athletes domestic and abroad and research on theoretical literatureFirst, the relevant concepts are described, then by studying relevant literature and policy analysis of the United States, South Korea and Japan retired Social Security athletes, through comparative analysis study, drawn from the experience of reference available; retired athletes to me social and historical development and current status of protection were summarized on China’s current social security system and the main problems are described; secondly reviewed academic research at home and abroad in the field of social security retired athletes.(2) Empirical research the needs of the athletes’social security in present situationRelying on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, the content of the depth of interpretation of the five levels of demand, combined with theoretical study of retired athletes occupational characteristics and social security, the needs refinement, design questionnaires, by issuing questionnaires combined with interviews, master survival and development needs of retired athletes currently unmet needs, the needs of retired athletes currently found mainly in the security hierarchy of needs, and combine them for popularity and social security needs of each project, the two remained the same, to establish requirements and security projects Social Security retirement athlete development model combining.
