Case Work In The Application Of Cognitive Restructuring Research For The Disabled

Since its inception in1988, the China disabled persons’ federation, undertakings for disabled persons develop in our country has experienced26years, Now we can see a lot of taking shape the service institutions for disabled persons, you can see the variety of barrier-free facilities in the modern city, All these changes make us feel gratified. However, with the progress and development of the society, the number of the disabled is growing. This is large group, They have multiple barriers in intellectual, spiritual or hearing, speech, cognitive ability, body coordination, they have received social discrimination and segregation。They have the power, the survival value and dignity,all of the "bright spot"are ignored and shielded.they are gradually marginalized,so they are lonely,stubborn,inferiority and conceit.It seems that the development of undertakings for disabled persons are difficult,many problems hidden in the back.I work on Y community by the identity of the community intern. I analyzed the present situation of the disabled community, Psychological status and living conditions in the early.According to the survey,1decided to adopt the method of case work intervention to the disabled people in the family,In view of the current common cognitive biases for the disabled,I try to step in it and help them. This paper explores the application of case work in cognitive restructuring for the disabled, and how to provide scientific and reasonable services to service object. As a social work professional student, I know the core values of social work, this paper of research,we can help the disabled persons enjoy the social material culture of equality of results and help them participate in social activities to explore their potential, enhance their self-esteem and self-confidence, Improve the self treatment and self care ability which is the effect of the service.Therefore, this article is to use case work in an attempt to cognitive restructuring services for the disabled, the director is the elderly people with disabilities and they have multiple disabilities, the complex surroundings makes the author’s practice and exploratory research more challenging.I hope that the practice of mental health services for the disabled is meaningful of the disabled cases.
