Since the beginning of the 21 st century, the accelerated urbanization are not only make the city become the main arena of economic and social activities, but also making the urban communities become the main target of today’s academic research. From the perspective of the last century, the city will build a community around the world as the main driving force of urban social and economic development, governments around the world in the city and even the social dimension of management which should be applied to different governance theory, establish a new urban community management, in order to overcome the contradiction between the government, the market, society. With the reform and opening up, China’s urbanization process continues to accelerate, social transformation and economic transition has been an inevitable trend, state control over society and gradually form a new management model——Government- Community- Residents mode. And importance of the role and status of urban communities play an increasingly significant, it also has become a social control, social stability, and promote an important part of justice. To ensure the health of urban community life, stability, and orderly, pay attention to community governance, strengthen education management of urban communities, promote community building and urban development, play a good function of urban community organizations, these all has become an inevitable requirement of social transformation. Therefore, this article will analyze the characteristics of urban community and the main problem in urban community education management development from the practice and exploration in city community’s education and management, strengthening urban community education management strategies and approaches is not only helping to enrich the research of urban sociology, geography and other disciplines related to urban communities, but also for sustainable development and a stable and harmonious community building community has very important significance.This paper is divided into four parts: The first part is introduction, which explain the basis of the significance of the topic of this article and research methods; The second part analyzes the community, community education, content management, community education and the basic characteristics of urban communities; The main idea is from the community itself, modern human development, harmonious urban construction and social and cultural development point of view to study the urban community education management. The third part from the practice of community education analyzes the status quo of China’s urban and community education management problems; The fourth part through the discussion on proposing countermeasures of urban community education management of own development, and taking putting forward specific measures to carry out community education management.
