Study On The Condition Of The Foster Care Service For The Disabled In Karamay City Of Xinjiang

Foster care service for disabled people plays an important role in the construction of social service system, the development of the foster care service for the disabled people is not only an objective demand to improve their living quality but also a necessity to the development of disabled care and social progress. At present, the foster care service for the disabled in China has many problems during the development process, which makes the work of foster care service for the disabled more difficult. Therefore, it is an inevitable requirement to develop the work of the foster care service for the disabled by means of improving the foster care service for the disabled.This article takes the city of Karamay as an example, sorting out and analyzing the theory about foster care services for the disabled by using the way of literature research; summing up the real situation of the foster care services system for the disabled in Karamay through interviewing those disabled who accept the foster service, the person who is in charge of the CDPF and the foster care institution in Karamay. getting first-hand information on the current foster care service situation for disabled in Xinjiang province and the City of Karamay through questionnaires and field research methods, and then statistical analyzing the survey data by using SPSS statistical software; analyzing present situations of the foster care service for the disabled in Karamay and getting knowing the satisfaction of the disabled who accept foster care service, exploring the factors that influence on the satisfaction of foster services work for the Disabled, summarizing the shortages and problems existing in the current system and putting forward the suggestions to improve the foster service work for the disabled tentatively, aiming to create favorable conditions to do foster service work well, so as to facilitate the construction of foster service better.The author believes that the current construction of the foster care service for disabled in Karamay is not perfect after analyzing it. Difficulties exist both in the institutional foster care services and home care foster services. And at the same time, the community service system as the main day care services have not been established yet. In order to improve the foster care service for disabled in Karamay for the current environment, some suggestions which were been put forward is that we should make efforts to improve the rate of disabled card in karamay to increase the supply of the foster service for disabled; to build the network for home care foster service as soon as possible; to perfect institutional foster care services by breaking the bottleneck; to explore and develop day care service in community. These measures provide advice and recommendations for foster care service of the disabled in karamay city.
