Research On The Resettlement Of Adult Orphans In China

We all know that children’s welfare homes asylum abandoned and disabled children under age 18. According to individual circumstance, the orphans as a adult will be arranged for inside and outside of settlement. Adult orphans resettlement is the only way to return the society, and is the key step to become social person. However the difficulty about adult orphans resettlement in the present study is the implementation of the orphan resettlement as an adult. The research of related work about resettlement is less and lack of depth.This study used phenomenological research methods in the qualitative research,to study the phenomenon of the resettlement of adult orphans, through in-depth interviews to understand the experiences and feelings of the resettlement of adult orphans and to understand their awareness and understanding of the resettlement, then showing the process of the resettlement of adult orphans and the interpretation of the resettlement from a witness point.Through the analysis of the interviews and the literature, the study reached the following conclusions:1. There are three major contradictions about the resettlement of adult orphans: the dependence and the independence of the resettlement process; the effectiveness and the validity of the resettlement service;2. The theoretical interpretation on adult orphans resettlement phenomenon :The resettlement of adult orphans is an important national child welfare system perfect policy. It need national policy support and enough people, goods, content. Children’s welfare homes to provide professional and systematic service to help orphans adult to learn independent ability. It is helpful to return and adapt the society smoothly, to realize socialization and the value of the individual.3. Adult orphans think that resettlement is a complex process of experiencing society as a individual for the first time. The process contains both their hardships and gratitude in return to society, and their firm to dominate their life and lost wanders complex feelings about the future.4. Children’s welfare home workers think resettlement is an important part of the job. The goal is to help the adult orphans of having labor ability of self-care ability into the society.To sum up, the resettlement is the first independent viability of experience and test.
