The Research Of Local Government’s Public Services Under The Background Of New Urbanization

New urbanization is not simply for economic development as the goal, but add the ascension of the city culture and public service into the content, so that urban residents can really enjoy the happy city life. Although it hasn’t been very long since the new urbanization was presented, along with the promotion of new urbanization,a large number of rural residents has got lots of benefit from it.In order to keep the rural development not out of line with the development of the city, we must gradually abolish the existence of a long period of dual system in our country. With the development of urbanization, a large number of come into the cities. In order to make sure that the citizenship of agricultural transfer of population be carried out smoothly,public services should be provided equally to them as to urban residents,let them enjoy the benefits of public services effectively. Public service is the important core of new urbanization, only improve the level of local government public services continuously can we push on the progress of new urbanization smoothly. The level of public services has become a very critical indicators in judging the quality of the new urbanization standards. In order to deliver public services efficiently,we must narrow the distance between the local government and the masses and get a good understanding of the public service needs of the masses. Therefore, to promote the smooth development of new urbanization, the local government must find the right strategy to improve the level of public service, it is important for the practice of new urbanization.The research methods of this article include analysis of literature, survey analysis and comparative analysis. Through the collection of relevant information and data reading, the public service and the new urbanization of related concepts are defined.Reviewed the relevant theoretical research results at home and abroad at the same time to provide adequate theoretical support. Then summarizes the current situation of local public services and the problems that exist and analysis the various factors that affect our local government public service standards. At last specific measures are proposed in many ways for local governments to improve public services.Through the study we find that there are still many problems in the provision of public services in local government. Including the level of the supply of public services is not high, the supply is lack of efficiency and is unbalance between the eastern and western regions, the gap between urban and rural areas is large, supply inequity between different groups. There are many reasons for these problems,including government investment in public services is inadequate, lack of perfect supply decision-making mechanism and the understanding of people’s needs, lack of protection of public service supply competition and supervision, etc. This paper indicate the new requirements that the new urbanization proposed for public service,identify the problems in current supply of public services and analyze the cause of the problems. Finally, try to put forward the improvement measures to raise the level of local government public service.
