Farmers’ Environmental Behavior Study Under The Ecological Civilization Perspective

In order to realize the sustainable development of rural production and construct quality of the living environment in rural areas, the party’s eighteen big clearly put forward the construction of ecological civilization in a prominent position, its integration into the whole process of economic construction, political construction, cultural construction. In the construction of ecological civilization, ecological civilization construction in rural areas as an organic part of the eco civilization construction of our country, has the vital significance. Farmers who play a role can’t be ignored, they are the builders and creator of the ecological environment, but also they are the destroyer and victim of ecological environment, the farmers’ environmental behavior is relationship with ecological civilization construction in rural areas the success or failure in a certain extent. Therefore, research on the behavior of farmers’ environment and to investigate its mechanism, is conducive to the building of a new countryside, but also conducive to the sustainable development of agriculture and the rural ecological civilization construction.This paper uses a method the basic principles of Marxism combining with and the empirical research. Firstly, the concept of environmental behavior, classification and influence factors, and the concept and classification of environmental awareness, the influence factors of farmers’ environmental behavior and enhance the farmers’ environmental behavior countermeasure research have carried on summarize; Secondly, the self-made "farmers’ environmental behavior questionnaire", factor analysis and test, reliability and validity of analysis, research the four dimensions which are related to farmers’ environmental behavior: the ecological production behavior, ecological consumption behavior, ecological living behavior and ecological participation behavior; again, through the questionnaire survey method, from gender, age, culture degree, whether the party member, whether the members of village cadres, analyzed demography variable of farmers’ environmental behavior; through the self-designed "questionnaire of farmers’ environmental awareness", "questionnaire of farmers’ environmental behavior ", to investigate the correlation between the farmers’ environmental awareness and action in all dimensions; Finally, four countermeasures of stimulating peasants’ environmental behavior are proposed. First, strengthen propaganda, strengthen farmers’ environmental consciousness; second, the development of rural education, improving farmers’ ecological literacy; third, improving relevant policies, to incentive farmers to green production; fourth, improving the income of the farmers, to actively build beautiful countryside.
