"Energy" has been since the birth of the term, already affecting people’s lives, the relationship between the survival and development of the country. Especially after the industrial revolution in human society turn, demand for energy is growing, it can be said that if there is no energy or energy supply disruptions, human society would be in chaos, until death. In the current structure of human energy use, the energy share of energy, clean energy and other renewable despite being gradually improved, but almost impossible to replace fossil fuels, to maintain human life on the planet, economic development and social progress, the importance of self-evident. However, on Earth, after all, limited energy reserves, and the uneven distribution of energy, the situation in the country by the international energy security issues will often affect the stability and development of the country.Energy security, the people’s livelihood, is the most important national laws and policies. However, China’s energy security very imperfect legal system, the legal system has not been established energy, energy legal system is not complete, can not effectively protect the country’s energy security. Therefore, this article from the concept of energy security and related research questions, analyzes the status quo of China’s energy security, legal system, and then by drawing energy security and foreign legislative experience in major developed countries, and to explore the establishment of a sound legal system, energy security, improve energy security and the legal system.Article is divided into five parts, the first part discusses energy security and related issues, is designed to set forth the need for energy security; the second part discusses the current situation of China’s energy security legal system; third part discusses the country’s energy security law deficiencies in the system; Part Ⅳ describes the major developed legal system of energy security Energy Security and Its Implications for China; Part V discusses how to improve the legal system of China’s energy security.
