Research On Urumqi Community Emergency Management

Xinjiang is located in China’s western border,Through the window China and the countries of Central Asia are exchange dealings. The second central Xinjiang Work Forum to further clarify the important role of Xinjiang in the construction of the Silk Road in economic zone, to emphasize the core area of the Silk Road is Xinjiang. As the capital of the core area, Urumqi is a new growth pole of polar nuclei. In recent years, Urumqi has developed rapidly. But at the same time, there are many uncertainties, affected the economic development of this city. Urban safety and social stability is a prerequisite for economic and cultural development in Urumqi, but the emergency management community is the key to the security and stability of the city. Therefore, Urumqi community emergency management research has important significance.This paper is trying to use the theory of govern and social capital, as it’s theoretical basis to show community’s basic role in city emergency management. Through analysis many examples and questionnaires to find those outstanding problems of community emergency management in Urumqi, and come up with some effective improve measures. By enhance community emergency management to promote the development of the city’s grassroots emergency management, and ensure security and stability in Urumqi.
