General Secretary Xi has put forward that the fundamental task of education is to establish “cultivating morality and promoting rounded development of people”,for the development of education in the new era,it puts forward clear-cut requirements,which is an important foundation for all educational work.However,at this stage,the moral education of rural left-behind children,which accounts for a large proportion of the total number of young people in China,is not optimistic.In recent years,the material life of the left behind children in rural areas has been greatly improved,but the problem of bad morals caused by the lack of moral education has become increasingly prominent,which has aroused widespread concern from all walks of life.The moral education of left-behind children in rural areas is related to their own mental health,social harmony and stability,and the realization of the great “Chinese dream”.Therefore,how to comprehensively strengthen the moral education of left behind children in rural areas under the guidance of general secretary Xi Jinping’s thought of “cultivating morality and promoting rounded development of people” is of great strategic significance.On the basis of studying and summarizing the research results of many scholars on the moral education of the left-behind children,this paper conducts a questionnaire survey and analysis on the current situation of the moral education of left-behind children in M Primary School of Jiangling County,Jinzhou City,and probes into the performance and causes of the moral education of left-behind children in rural areas,and tries to put forward effective solutions.There are four chapters in this paper.The first chapter introduces the research background and significance of moral education of left-behind children in rural areas,the current situation of internal and external research,the research ideas and methods of this topic.The second chapter is the connotation of moral education of rural left behind children,mainly introduces the concept of rural left behind children,the basic theory of moral education,and the urgency of moral education of rural left-behind children.The third chapter is the investigation and analysis of moral education of left-behind children in rural areas.It introduces the design of questionnaire,the basic situation of moral education of left-behind children in rural areas,and the performance of the lack of education.There are some problems in the moral education of rural left-behind children,such as incorrect moral education concept,low moral attention,unscientific moral education mode and negative moral effect.It also analyzes the reasons of the lack of moral education from four aspects of left behind children,family,school,society and government.The fourth chapter is to strengthen the moral education of the left behind children in rural areas.In view of the reasons for the lack of moral education,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to repair the function of family moral education,consolidate the main position of moral education,create a good social moral education environment,play the leading role of government moral education,so as to effectively promote the moral education of left-behind children in rural areas.
