Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of China’s Rural Home-based Care Services

Recently,increasing aging population brings the challenge to imperfect pension services in china. How to satisfy the needs of nursing for elders more effectively is the pressing matter of the moment. comparing to urban pension problems,the situation of rural pension is more severe. The lower economic development speed, the actualize of one-child policy and the constantly moving forward of urbanization lead to more rapidly population aging, in the meantime the reducing of family structure to a great tent avianize the traditional family structure, it is very urgent to figure out a more applicable and feasible nursing model for the elders in rural area. In the mean time, the situation of rural economics and the traditional concepts of relaying on sons for old-age lead to difficulties to the foundation and expedition of nursing home. Therefore, it is important to establish and improve the rural pension services with fully consideration of people’s wish and rural situation in China.Based on worldly researches and theories of community-based home care for the old-age,this thesis analysis the problems emerged in and raises up solutions for the development of rural pension service. The data in the thesis is gathered form Wangjing Town, Tangxian,Baoding, China.This thesis is divided into four parts: First, introduction, which contains background information, meaning of the thesis, ideas and methods of the research, and innovation; The second part provides concepts and theories of community-based home care for the old-age;The third part introduces the situation of rural aging population in Baoding and analysis the problems occurred in current community-based home care for old age by using the data gathered from Wangjing Town; The last part makes proposals to solve the problems in community-based home care for the old-age.
