| At present,China’s population is aging, especially in rural areas. The degree of aging is high and the physical condition of the elderly is worrying.Under the diversified pension structure, the characteristics of social pension, family pension, and institutional pension are lacking. The problem of rural old-age care has become a key issue affecting the development of rural society.A more comprehensive social security system covering rural elderly needs to be established. With the development of the working economy and the change of family structure, mutual care for the aged has a unique potential for supplementation in rural pension. Many rural areas in China have tried to explore the model of mutual care for the aged according to local conditions, and the most famous mutual care model is Hebei Feixiang Happiness Home. The academic circles have less research on home-based mutual care for the aged, and the mutual care behavior has been passed along as a form of mutual care for the aged. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to focus on the behavior of spontaneous mutual care for the aged, through empirical analysis,to study the possible development path of spontaneous home-based mutual care, lay a good foundation for its future development, and enrich the study of rural mutual care for the aged. This paper firstly conducts an empirical analysis of the practice of mutual care for the aged in C village of Jinzhong City,Shanxi Province. The situation of rural aging in Shanxi Province is severe. The pilot program of mutual care for the aged is under the background of many cities in China. There are few pilot projects in the province, but C village has many years of home-based mutual care practice and has a certain scale.Through the empirical analysis of the interviews and questionnaire surveys of spontaneous practice of mutual care for the aged in C village, this paper summarizes the current situation of C village ’s pension, the development status and potential of the mutual-care groups, and the analysis of the core elements of the mutual-care groups based on the three theories. At the same time,in the process of spontaneous exploration, there are some problems in the practice of mutual care for the aged in C village, such as limited coverage, weak anti-risk ability, lack of institutionalized design and funding, and obstacles to traditional concepts.Secondly, combing the two representative models of mutual care for the aged in rural areas of China, summing up practical experiences and existing problems, and comparing the two with the practice of mutual care for the aged in C village, summed up the logic of the generation and realization of mutual care for the aged in rural areas, and conduct feasibility analysis of whether to adopt these two models.Thirdly, strengthen the guidance of the village committee, rely on the resources of the day care center, raise funds for development, strengthen the institutionalization of mutual care for the aged, and adopt a reasonable way to change the concept of residents. These are truly suitable development methods for home-based mutual care for the aged of the C village. And summarize the concepts that can be learned from the practice of home-based mutual care for the aged in C village. |
