The Research Of Deliberative Democracy In The Construction Of Ecological Civilization In China

On a global scale it has been agreed that ecological problems should be solved in democratic way.China attaches great importance to the construction of ecological civilization. On the other hand, it is an important propose of The Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC that deliberative democracy is suitable for the situation of China.On the foundation of summarizing massive literature on the democratic construction of ecological civilization construction and consultation of China,this article analyzed the current situation of the democratic construction of ecological civilization construction and consultation of China.The further research indicates that deliberative democracy in the construction of ecological civilization in China is facing many problems,such as the contradiction between economic development and environmental protection,the lack of deliberative democracy participation, the defects of relevant legal system,the interference of interest groups,citizens’ ecological democracy consciousness is not strong.Choosing the deliberative democracy as the solution of ecological civilization construction is the basic condition of this article.It will take joint efforts of multiple participants to improve the democratic consultation system in the construction of ecological civilization in China.The government needs to be a better leader in the ecological democratic negotiation.Measures should be taken to make the enterprises be a major part of the deliberative democracy.Environmental protection organizations and citizens should be also couraged to play an important role in the construction of ecological civilization.
