The Analysis Of China’s Partnership Strategy

After the end of the cold war, Chinese established strategic partnership according to the international situation and national condition. China’s partnership strategy a new diplomatic strategy which is in line with the principle of independence, seeking common ground while reserving differences, based on the international law and international practices, through equal consultation and cooperation,to achieve national interests expand international influence. Since 1993,China and Brazil established the first partnership, China gone through incubation stage, starting stage, developing stage and mature stage. In the process of exploration and practice, China’s partnership strategy has become an important part of China’s foreign strategy. At the same time, as a new type of diplomatic strategy, China’s partnership strategy is different from the traditional diplomatic strategy in the strategic space, strategic framework and strategic carrier.Every diplomatic strategy is to achieve its own diplomatic goals by corresponding measures, China’s partnership strategy is no exception. Through meeting mechanism, “an amicable,secure and enrich the neighbors” policy, establish cooperation forum and other means, China’s partnership strategy has achieved positive results in the aspect of maintain a peaceful and stable international environment, maintain the balance of the strategic forces, enhance the national image and influence, promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation.But China’s partnership strategy is still facing many challenges, including the negative effects produced by the differences of diplomatic principle in partnership strategy, the impact caused by surrounding environment and the negative factors brought by the conflicts of interests between partner countries. In view of this, the paper put forward the following countermeasures: China should continue to adhere to the “non aligned” policy, focus on the development of the high level partnership between China and the developing counties, implementing the linkage of partnership strategy and other diplomatic platform, balance the development of partnership, overall plan the development of partnership strategy, promote the combination of bilateral and multilateral diplomacy to realize the network development of partnership.
