The Study Of Judicial Social Work On Thejuvenile Delinquency Co Rrection

The problem of juvenile delinquency has become more and more serious in our country. The country is paying more and more attention to the correction of juvenile delinquency, which more and more emphasizes the importance of the community correction of juvenile delinquency and the judicial social work. Although many scholars have studied the problems about the social work intervention on community correction, the existing research are all analysises from the middle layer of “community construction” and “correction model” of macro layer. Yet, there has been no study on the community correction mode service from an organization as the main microcosmic body. Based on this, the thesis adopts the community correction punishment of juvenile delinquency in the deviation of psychology and behavior as a case study by taking the community correctional services in KL judicial administration in KL town as the object of the study and the community correction of juvenile delinquency as the breakthrough point. Settled in the judicialsocial work, the study uses the social work values and professional skills and does research in juvenile crime n the community correction. This correction is different from not only the prison correction of juvenile offenders but also the prevention of community correction in juvenile delinquency. The research in the thesis is in line with the actual situation of KL judicial administration and the correction mode taken in the case service is also in accordance with the development trend of juvenile delinquency correction.Since our country has put forward the notion of community correction, a variety of community correction mode, such as Shanghai mode and Beijing mode came into existence. In view of the matureness of the community correction in some areas, this thesis makes references and draws the successful experiences, and at the same time, it also analysizes and summarizes the community correction methods taken by the social workers of KL judicial administration for juvenile delinquency intervention. Through the illustration of the juvenile delinquency correction case service, the thesis exemplifies the mode and feasibility of method so as to improve the existing deficiencies of the KL judicial administration to a certain degree to make reference in the future work.The thesis adopts literature analysis method and participant observation method to study the juvenile delinquency in KL judicial administration and it concludes the individual case by the method of case study, in-depth interview and evaluation methodsand so on. The point drawn from the above is the view point of the thesis. As one of the three main methods of the judicial social work, the thesis uses case work to provide judicial community correction with practical operational conetents. But because of the national conditions of our country and the special nature of the correction object, intervention of case work in the correction method also shows various geographical features in different forms. The thesis analysizes the correction mode which is based on its actual situation taken by KL judicial administration and it also clarifies the positive impact and significance of this correction method has on the correction of juvenile offenders in KL judicial administration.
