Study Of The Deliberative Democracy Socialism With Chinese Characteristics

Along with the constant deepening of comprehensive reform, various interest contradictions emerge in the society, thus, it is necessary to resolve the contradictions effectively. In recent years, the party and the state have laid special emphasis on the importance of socialist deliberative democracy to China’s economic and social development, and have implemented and implemented constantly in each aspect. Therefore, it is essential to further research the socialist deliberative democracy problem systematically.At first, this paper expounded on the connotation of socialist deliberative democracy with Chinese characteristics, analyzed the theoretical basis of its emerging, which were Marxist theory of the people’s democracy, the united front theory and taking China’s excellent idea of traditional culture for references. Then analyzed its theoretical and practical significance on the basis of theoretical research. Secondly, this paper discussed the development history of socialist deliberative democracy in three stages according to the chronological order from the budding, establishment to the development, and summed up the experience in its deve lopment process. After that, according to the different circumstances in the practical applications of deliberative democracy with different subjects, the paper focused on the discussion about the applications of deliberative democracy in national democratic authorities, CPPCC(Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference) organizations and grassroots, and summarized their common characteristics, such as : effective integration of the actual national conditions, more extensive subjects, more diverse forms and more significant effect, etc. Because there are still many problems in the practical applications of deliberative democracy. Accordingly, this paper put forward some corresponding suggestions to promote the development of deliberative democracy, including allowing it penetrate into the relevant institutional system in-depth, attaching importance to the promotion of the consultation ability of the ruling party, paying attention to discard the dross and select the essence while learning from Western deliberative democracy, so as to vitalize socialist deliberative democracy with Chinese characteristics more effectively.
