Research On Temporal Sequence Of Rural Settlements Consolidation In The Mining Area Of Hilly Loess Region

With social and economic development, rural settlement has been the product of a certain stage. It is not only the core of relationship between rural residents and land,but also significant material carrier of new countryside construction in the new socialism period, even the prerequisite and guarantee of balancing the development of rural and urban areas. However, with rapid economic development, increasing human activities and lack of reasonable and scientific guidance, the layouts of rural settlements scatter at random, which hinder the rapid progress of balanced development of urban and rural areas. To carry out consolidation work and temporal sequence research of rural settlements is a reality need to develop new countryside construction in new situation, and also a theoretical need to improve temporal research of rural settlements consolidation.As a result, the river basin of Zezhou county of Jincheng, Shanxi was taken as a research area. This study was mainly carried out from the following aspects:(1) A summarized introduction and research review relevant to rural settlements consolidation at home and abroad were made so as to explore key points of different research content and technical methods, and make the starting point of the research more clear.(2) The geographical distribution of river basin of rural settlements and factors affecting consolidation temporal sequence of rural settlements were analyzed by combining GIS space technology analysis and landscape pattern index.(3)Indicator system of temporal sequence of rural settlements consolidation in river basin was built based on the feasibility- urgency of rural settlements.(4) Consolidating temporal sequence analysis of river basin of rural settlements was conducted by Prioritization Matrix Model on the basis of feasibility- urgency of the land in the basin.Through the research above, it could come to the following conclusions:(1)Indicator system of temporal sequence of rural settlements consolidation in river basin based on the feasibility- urgency of the land was comprehensive and targeted,therefore it was helpful for consolidating temporal sequence analysis of ruralsettlements.(2) Feasibility of rural settlements in river basin was classified into three levels: highly suitable, moderately suitable and lowly suitable. Main effecting factors and degree of influence were respectively single grain yield, rural settlements area per capita, net income of each rural resident, gross output value of industry and agriculture, slope,improvement will and education level of the rural residents.(3)Urgency of rural settlements in river basin was classified into three levels: highly urgent, moderately urgent and lowly urgent. Main effecting factors and the influence degree were respectively damage extent of coal mining, water source proximity, patch fractal dimension, patch fragmentation extent, arable land area, road accessibility,average patch area, arable land per capita and urban radiation intensity.(4) Based on feasibility and urgency of rural settlements, two evaluation models were coupled by Prioritization Matrix to conduct consolidation temporal sequence division, which played an important role in carrying out renovation of rural settlements.
