Study On The Role Of Government In The Development Of Rural Tourism

As an important part of tourism, rural tourism has attracted more and more people’s attention in recent years. Therefore, a lot of grass-root governments developed, encouraged, and supported the development of rural tourism to meet the demands of rural tourism market. But in the course of its development, many uncoordinated issues which mainly reflected in indistinct rural tourism development planning, inadequate executive power, poor policies and regulations, insufficient the government public service and so on. This thesis attempts to study on the basis of the industrial agglomeration and the market failure using literature analysis, empirical research and other research methods to analyze the advantages of rural tourism development, present situation, characteristics of Chini Town in Huadu District.It is found that rural tourism development of Chini Town in Huadu District was in initial stage. Affected by many reasons such as policies and regulations, land policy constraints, limited funds for development, management mechanism imperfect factors, its speed of development was slow.Therefore, Learning from "five golden flowers" in Chengdu and successful experiences of the development of Township village tourism in the USA, this thesis puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of rural tourism development policy guidance and support services from the angle of strengthening the role of the government of the overall planning, scientific orientation, improvement of tourism policy formulation, broadening the financing channels and the mode of development and improvement of the management system and the operation mechanism, and boost the rural tourism sustainable development.
