A Study On Model To The Influence Factors Of Public Risk Perception In NIMBY

With urban economic rapid growth and the public income level continues to rise, the existing public facilities increasingly difficult to meet people’s increasingly maturity and growth of socialization, the difference of the demand, to alleviate this reality, all local governments were started to build different grades, the degree of each other industrial enterprises and the garbage burning factory and other public service facilities, in order to increase to meet the gradually expand people to social services and hardware facilities system high standards and high requirements. Along with the continuous rise of the public facilities, all kinds of contradictions and conflicts also ensue the NIMBY conflict is in recent years is one of the main social contradictions. In recent years, people’s environmental philosophy and its legitimate rights to maintain constant attention, adjacent to avoid the conflict problem and the resulting a series of social conflict events also become increasingly popular widespread concern of the people of the whole society, is the urgent need to resolve society, one of the difficult problems.The emergence of conflict avoidance is largely due to the lack of awareness of public risk perception. NIMBY facilities construction in relation to the public, especially the vital interests of the surrounding people, if in the process of promoting the construction of the public project no fully and effectively grasp the public psychological risk perception, then it is easy to be produced due to incorrect perception of public crisis and caused threat to social stability of NIMBY conflict. In this paper in the social amplification framework and structure theory of emotion on the basis, select the risk occurred source, risk in the social amplification channels, risk of the recipient, the risk of the target itself, the public mood factor as the breakthrough point, under the guidance of the theory of mutual construction of model was established, and the the NIMBY scenarios of perceived risk influence factors were investigated. Study found that risk perception of the public by NIMBY facilities damage, optimism, pessimism, the knowledge reserve and the impact on the degree of social trust, which NIMBY facilities damage, pessimism, knowledge and risk perception into positive correlation, and optimism and social trust and perceived risk into negative correlation. Through the analysis of the data, the author found that gender, education, occupation does not have a significant impact on the risk perception of the public, and with age, the risk perception will be different. Therefore recommended that the government and management in the implementation of NIMBY events related to the project, should strengthen concern and care for people with a pessimistic trait, enhanced residents in the NIMBY event protect their knowledge and ability, to enhance the residents of the official government and social trust and strengthen the concern and care of a particular group.
