An Analysis On The Management Of Local Government In Internet Public Opinion Of Group Events

At present, with the rapid development of China’s Internet, the Internet has been changing into the distribution center and the amplifier for expressing ideological and cultural information and public opinion. In addition, China is in an important strategic opportunity of sustainable development, the social problems and contradictions are easily tend to be sharpened, resulting in the frequent occurrence of group events in China. And those group events are always characteristic of large scale and strictly organized. And on the other side, the Internet public opinion is the main factor that causes group events and leads to massive adverse effects, has exerted considerable influence on the work of our government.Facing the intense political participation and demands in public Internet era, this paper will conduct an in-depth analysis and research on how the local government does to promote its management capabilities to solve and adapt to the research object of Internet public opinion of group events. Firstly, the concept, characteristics, types and mechanism, also the author’s own views on the Internet public opinion of group events will be put forward. Secondly, this paper will mainly use the theory of life cycle on the governmental crisis communication, following the comprehensive use of literature research, case analysis and comparative analysis, to explore the role of government in public opinion guidance and disposal of public opinion on various stages, and also the paper will combine with the cases of group events in recent years to analyze current situation and problems on governmental management in the aspects of Internet public opinion of group events, and then propose the importance on the strategies of governmental crisis communication in Internet public opinion of group events. Eventually, the management system on Internet public opinion of group events will be put forward, so as to provide some strategic suggestions for decision-making of the government.
