Democratic Thought Studies Of Democratic Weekly

Democracy Weekly was founded by China democratic league branch in Yunnan province. Its purpose was to expand the influence of public opinion and to participate the political life enthusiastically. The widely-read Democracy Weekly made huge efforts to promote the thought of unity, Anti-Japanese, democracy and progress. It had a great influence at that time because of publishing a lot of articles which were about comments on the current political situation, social critical and criticized dictatorship Kuo Min Tang.This dissertation attempts to analyze and explore Democracy weekly for the understanding of democracy thought. At the same time, this dissertation establishes democratic theory framework of Democracy Weekly. In addition, this paper is to systematize the thought of Democracy weekly to achieve democracy in the domestic. And then this dissertation reveals the ideological value of Democracy weekly and the close relationship with pro-democracy movement at that time between Democracy Weekly and its scholars.This dissertation analyzes the discussions of Democracy Weekly about diplomatic policies, the international situation and international affairs. This dissertation also explains its unique international democracy thought.The first part this article introduces the causes of the selection of the subject, summarizes predecessors’research results, elaborates research methods and research ideas.The second part introduces the era background, academic background, the author group and ideological characteristics of Democracy Weekly.The third part introduces the discussions about democracy and the studies about democratic system of America, Britain and the Soviet Union in Democracy Weekly. The fourth part introduces and discusses a series of exploration for the domestic democracy of Democracy Weekly, such as the analysis about the goal that fight for national independence in the Anti-Japanese War, the exploration about economic construction for economic democracy and the discussions about political democracy construction for the realization of political democracy.The fifth part discusses the discussions of foreign policy fighting for international democracy in Democracy Weekly, including diplomatic policies of countries such as America, Britain, France and the Soviet Union, analysis of the international important events.Epilogue part dialectical analyzes and evaluates the thought of Democracy Weekly, emphatically introduces the enlightenment on political thought of Democracy Weekly for today’s diplomatic and political development in our country.
