With the economic and social development, as well as the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization in our country, among rural labors, some take the chance to search a job or start up business, out of their home, in that they hope for economic improvement of their own family and exploring the greater development. However, due to the objective limitations covering job security, living conditions,education and looking after,part of them cannot but make the decision of leaving their minor children at home, attended by other guardians, leading to numerous children left behind in the countryside. Like other children’s, the growth and development of left-behind children,which has much to do with the future of Hubei Province and even with that of China, are closely influenced by the quality of family education, school education, and social education.As left-behind children are in the key period of physical and mental development,parent’s long absence has resulted in several problems with minor children’s family education, school education, social education and their mentality. The predicament of left-behind children is one of social problems, taking shape in Chinese rural labor migration, which is foreseeable to exist for a long time. Conducting a study on the education predicament of left-behind children in Hubei province is aimed at offering some good suggestions on how to figure it out.In the first part, on the basis of systematically analysing domestic and international researches on the education problems of left-behind children, the paper sorts and defines the relevant theories and concepts of new-type urbanization and left-behind children,then it summarises and arranges 475 questionnaires.After that,the paper structures this problem from four aspects referring family, school, social educations and psychological guidance. Based on the causes of the problems were analyzed. The main reason is the influence of family environment, defect of school education, social education development difficulties and psychological counseling lack. This paper proposes specific countermeasures and suggestions for related, such as the implementation of effective family education methods, specification of school education, give full play to the comprehensive function of community education, additional psychological courses etc, so as to improve the Hubei Province Rural left behind children’s education, also provide reference for other areas of Hubei Province predicament of left-behind children...
