| With the sustainable development of economy, the ecosystem is increasingly serious. There have also been a series of problems such as resource depletion, environmental pollution, and the haze. The ecological crisis causes people to rethink the relationship between man and nature. The report of the eighteenth Party Congress has clearly pointed out that the construction of ecological civilization should be put into the overall arrangement with Chinese characteristics. The ecological moral education in community is a kind of well-organized and well-planned educational practice which is classified in accordance with different districts. Aimed to improve the ecological and moral quality and level of residents, it takes a particular community or adjacent community as a unit. Meanwhile, the educational resources, educational environment, community residents and living characteristics of residents within a certain district are taken into consideration. The community is the basic unit of the society with a strong operability. The community is regarded as a unit to carry out the ecological moral education and to promote the construction of "ecological China".The paper is composed of three parts. The first part is pertaining about some related concepts and defines the connotation of ecological moral education in community. It summarizes the thoughts of ecological moral education in traditional culture, Marx and Engels’thought of ecological moral education and Western thought of ecological moral education. It provides a theoretical basis for the development of ecological moral education in community. The second part is based on the actual investigation of Xinhuali community in Beichen District of Tianjin. In this part, the researcher concludes and analyzes the problems of ecological moral education in community. The third part aims at the problems existing in investigation and puts forward some countermeasures to optimize the construction of ecological moral education in community. |
