Study On Governmental Supervision For Network Public Opinion In Yangjiang City

In recent years, with the development and popularization of the internet technology, the online society becomes a platform for people who want to express their opinion on current economy and government policy. The network public opinion has formed rapidly and spread quickly, it would bring a great influence on traditional media and become a tough question for government. In this case,governmental supervision for network public opinion is becoming a crucial aspect of government work.How to guide and supervise the network public opinion also becomes one of the biggest challenges for government.This project takes Yangjiang City in Guangdong Province as the object of study. Centering on the government supervision of network public opinion and based on the science of public management, this project conducts a comprehensive analysis on the current situation of domestic and international network public opinion supervision. This project studies the development trend of network public opinion through the analysis of the network public opinion events in Yangjiang City in recent years. Combining with the practical situation of Yangjiang City, this project tries to propose countermeasures of enhancing government supervision on network public opinion and provide valuable reference for Yangjiang government’s effective supervisiononnetwork public opinion.This project proposed to expound in six chapters. First, it conducts analysis and elaboration on two issues: the current research situation of government supervision on network public opinion and its involved concept and theory. Based on the analysis on the current situation of government supervision on network public opinion in Yangjiang City, this project draws on the advanced experience of government supervision on network public opinion at home and abroad.
