Research On The Government’s Credibility In Public Crisis Management

In this article, the government responsibility and the foundation of government credibility in public crisis management is analyzed and summarized, hence strengthening the theory foundation of subsequent analysis.Take China’s economic development, social reality and human en vironment as the background and on the basis of relevant theoretical research of the government’s credibility in the public crisis management, this article combed the development of our government crisis management and analyze the present situation of the government’s public crisis management in our country. Combined with the result, this article analy ze the reason of the lack of our government credibility from kinds of angles and the problems that the insufficient interaction in public crisis management be tween the government and the public, the media. Through the analysis, this article points out that four reasons account for the current lack of government credibility: 1, China’s unique political environment; 2, the current economic environmen t of our country; 3, the reason of public self exists; 4, the negative effect from the development of science and technology.This article analyzes the influence and reaction that lack of the governm ent credibility brought to the government public crisis management, point out that lack of government credibility will directl y affect the following three aspects: 1, bring the government trust crisis; 2, damage the government image, bring difficulty to the management of public crisis; 3, induce mass incidents and then lead to social disorder. This article analyzes the cause and effect relationship of these three aspects.Combined with China’s current national conditions and the domestic and foreign data about the government credibility construction in public crisis manageme nt, this article analyzes the beneficial work in construction and remodeling of government’s credibility and what’s more, providing the objective basis for credibility construction in public crisis management.Finally, combined with the current economic s ituation, social background and other factors, it is proposed to enhance the government’s credibility from three ways: enhance the government information disclosure; promote economic development and reduce the negative impact caused by economic growth; pro mote law construction of public crisis management. And combined with the crisis management of the government and the public, the media in a positive interaction to achieve the purpose of improving the credibility of the government in public crisis manageme nt. At the same time, based on the analysis of the current government crisis management in our country, this article puts forward suggestions for the construction of crisis management, which can provide an analytical basis for the construction of governmen t’s credibility, and has theoretical significance to improve the construction of government credibility.
