China is undergoing a period of social transition, social interest differntiation,socia contradicitions increasingly prominence, the social public opinion appearing diversified and changeable and the government public crisis being a focus.Under the help of Internet technology, information、presents the multi-source heterogeneous, huge amounths of foreign ownership,the low density value and the new featuresof fuzzy ownership.Withthe characteristics of virtualization, anonymity and flatter oneself to form a “group polarization effect”,network not only changing people’s lives, but also changeds the environment of social public opinion can leading to an explosive transmission of government public crisis, and the government legitimacy crisis.Hoever, in traditional opinion crisis managerment,there are some problems such as information disclosure not timely.coping stylessingly, coping styles inappropriately and so on, these deficiencies and problems directly test the government’s crisis management level and ruling ability. In recent years, the rapid development of the large data provides government public crisis governance provides a new way of thinking and new technology.In this paper, we study rlated issue of the government public crisis management under the background of big data and the research content is divided into five parts. The first part is introduction, mainly elaborating the selected topic background and significance, research status at home and abroad, research contents and methods. The second part is theory analysis and experience description of the first chapter of the government public crisis and its management. On the pasis of clarifying the formation and propagation mechanism and its influence of government public crisis concept.Making the crisis theory as the starting poim,this part the traditional government public crisis management theory and experience. And then discussing.The third part is about the meaning of big data meaning and its development.This part first introduces domestic and foreign scholars,to different understanding of this phenomenon on big data, then combs the development course of big data, and summarizes the characteristics of big data. The fourth part is about the challenges and opportunities of government public crisis governance under the background big data.
