In China, the peasant workers are a special social group who make a great difference to the construction of modernization during the processes of industrialization and urbanization. At the present, the new-age peasant workers, as the important human resource supporters for China changing for “made in China” to “created in China”, can provide skill support for the strategic adjustment of national economic structures. Therefore, improvement of the new-age peasant workers’ employments and the level of their employments, as well as fulfilling their reasonable expectation are not only key points of the new urbanization of China, but also are necessary during the adjustment of economic structures. Based on that, the study is trying to research the employment situation of the new-age peasant workers from the view of social support network theory.In the fourth part of research design, the main research method of this study, based on results of previous studies, collected the first-hand information by the combination of the questionnaire survey and individual deep interviews, and then analyzed the result by statistical analysis software. For the selection of questionnaire objects, the study was depending on more than ten new-age peasant workers who were connected originally and sample other new-age peasant workers by the RDS method. While for the selection of interviewees, six of the originally connected objects were selected.The fifth part and the sixth part were the main body of the study, and found out if it is the integral social support network or individual social support network that affected the employment of the new-age peasant workers deepest and the related reasons by the result analysis of questionnaire.The overall social support network in the employment of the new-age peasant workers which plays a role, what is the main difference between different support; in the course of employment of the new-age peasant workers, how about the size, the structure, the trend homogeneity and heterogeneity of the individual social support network; to optimize the employment status of the new-age peasant workers, for the problems found in the study,how can we solve the path selection and so on.The results and conclusions of the study are: 1.Compared with the old-age peasant workers, employment social support situation was quite different. In the course of employment of the new-age peasant workers rely more on overall social support network; 2.Do not know about the government’s employment support,is an important factor that hinders the employment of the new-age peasant workers.; 3.In the current environment, the individual social support network is a useful supplement to the employment of the new-age peasant workers; 4. The overall social support networks, support platforms for the new-age peasant workers to provide employment support to different content. 5.The new-age peasant workers lower job satisfaction is not for difficult job, but in the higher expectation of employment and lower skill education, more thin individual social support the contradiction between network, is that they want to get better jobs and do not know how to self contradiction between my ascension. Therefore, this paper suggests that the government should take the government as the main path to construct the career development for the new-age peasant workers.
