With the rapid development of information technology, the communication media which as one of the important forms of social media is undergoing tremendous changes in recent years. Micro-blog has occuppied public opinion markets in network quickly, which shows the explosive development. The rapid development of micro-blog is mainly due to its special characteristics of immediacy, openness and interactivity. The unique advantage and rapid development of micro-blog makes it become the indispensable extension and supplement for policy consultation in the network, and also an important supplement way for government information release and interactivity between government and the masses. Many government agencies and officials have opened micro-blog in the network.The literature research method, case study method and other research methods were used in this study. Base on the explanation and definition of the basic concepts, the current status of the Quanzhou government affairs micro-blog were described.
