With a new round of curriculum reform across the country to start, the majority of the rural areas of the high school biology curriculum resource development's efforts, depth and practical application, which doesn't meet the basic requirements of high school biology teaching; how to develop and practice the application of the rural high school biology curriculum resources is an important problem facing vast biology teachers, especially ones in rural areas.Adopting a combination of theory research and practice research methods, this paper carries out a preliminary study of the development and utilization of high school biology curriculum resources in rural areas of Southern Anhui. Besides, this paper also analyses these problems, such as: the current situation of developing high school biology curriculum resources across the country; the concept and the type of new curriculum resources; the structure and characteristics of high school curriculum resource in rural areas; the advantage of high school biology curriculum resource in rural areas of Southern Anhui; the development principle, the basic strategy of development and the achieved development value of high school biology curriculum resource in rural areas of Southern Anhui; practical utilization of high school biology curriculum resources in rural areas of Southern Anhui,etc. This paper carries out research on the development, process, approach and other specific problem of high school biology curriculum resources in rural areas of Southern Anhui, and specifies high school biology curriculum resources which are used in teaching in rural areas through specific cases. The research results are well beneficial to further develop high school biology curriculum resources in rural areas for fating references.Come to the following conclusions through the research :(1) In accordance with the "high school biology curriculum standards" development of curriculum resources and other theoretical basis. Developing and practicing high school curriculum resources in the rural areas of southern Anhui are feasible. (2) When developing and applying in practice, we should fully consider the characteristics of high school biology curriculum resources in rural areas and the advantages of rural areas of Southern Anhui. Abiding by the principle" Act according to circumstances, people-oriented; resolving around the teaching materials; a reasonable development; linking to the reality, economically feasible; experimental resources, top priority." The base strategy to develop should be based on the characteristics of areas, schools, teachers and students. (3)As long as high school biology teachers in the rural areas of Southern Anhui based on the local and do an in-depth research, the development and practical utilizations of high school resources we explore can be successful and the research high school biology curriculum resources' practical utilizations in the rural areas of Southern Anhui is promising.Through the study of the subject, this paper can expend the knowledge field of vision and teaching field of vision of high school biology teachers in the rural areas of Southern Anhui, so that they will quickly be able to change the traditional concept of education and teaching to keep pace with the new curriculum reform in time, and gradually obtain successful experience and pleasure is practice. Meantime, high school students in the rural areas of Southern Anhui can improve their intents in study and arouse their enthusiasms for study. In face of complex nature, they can be able to discover and ask questions. Through the collection of information, experiments, discussion, practice and other activities to solve problems, so they can learn research methods and experience the learning process. This paper will introduce new curriculum resources for high school biology teaching in the rural areas of Southern Anhui to further enrich the teaching process, and promote reach the curriculum goal.
