Differences And Interactions Between Traditional Media And New Media In The "relationship Between Teachers And Students In Colleges And Universities"

The relationship between teachers and students in colleges and universities affects the work of the school in the teaching process,and directly influences the educational efficiency.The mass media has the function of setting agendas,which affects the public perception of the relationship between teachers and students.Contrast with positive issues,the negative reports can aggravate public false stereotypes about the relationship.Recent years,the traditional media and digital media have different roles in the presentation caused by negative reports streaming in the digital media age.Based on the theory of media ecology,this paper conducts a comprehensive investigation of the media presentation of the relationship,through the four negative cases,the traditional media(Party newspaper,city newspaper)and digital media(Weibo,WeChat)report as the research object.In terms of research approaches,firstly,the paper statistics on the text of the report using content analysis,and describes the basic description of the relationship between traditional media and digital media for college teachers and students,under the guidance of framework theory.Secondly,the article analyzes the media presentations inner features of traditional media and digital media,the difference between traditional media and digital media through comparative analysis and text analysis.Finally,the article also uses the literature analysis method to theoretically explain the status quo of these media.Based on the sample description analysis,it is found that the Media presentation: the traditional media convey the official voice,the new media gather the public speech;the party newspaper reflects stability,the city newspaper investigates the truth,the Weibo siege catharsis,the WeChat extension topic.There is still a phenomenon of setting the agenda between the media.For example,the central party newspaper issues flow to the local party newspapers;the city newspaper reports are mutual sources of information;Weibo and WeChat issues flow,traditional media and new media set up issues by each other.In addition,colleges and students use new media to participate in the media presentation of teacher-student relationship in colleges and universities.What factors have led to the status quo of the teachers-student relationship shown in the media? On the one hand,from the perspective of media ecology,it is relationship influenced by the media attributes,media position,and technical factors.The interaction between the media is influenced by their complementary factors and Public information needs.On the other hand,the interactive presentation of colleges and students in the media is due to the role of digital media empowerment.
