Classroom misbehavior is students’behaviors happened in a classroom situation, which violates classroom rules. It obstructs and interferes with the normal classroom activities. And it will affect teaching efficiency and learning effectiveness. Classroom misbehavior is very common in daily classroom teaching, which has a serious impact on the students’development and teachers’teaching level. Since the1960s, scholars at home and abroad have done extensive research on students’classroom misbehavior. The research is mainly under the view of psychology, education, sociology. On the basis of previous research, I use a new view called gender to do the study of classroom misbehaviors. I analyze boys’ and girls’ performance characteristics of the misbehavior in class and the cause of it. Then I propose viable strategies from a gender perspective in order to reduce and eliminate the misbehaviors of students in class. Since junior high school students are in adolescence, which is the second peak of development in life. Their body change very rapidly. Because of it, the differences between boys and girls in junior school are very obvious. So I choose junior high school students as research subject.Part1first introduces the thesis topic origin and the significance of the topic. Then it gives a general idea about classroom misbehavior and gender. At last it reviews the research on classroom misbehavior in and abroad.Part2first introduces the purpose of the study, the object of the study, the methods of the research and the tools of the research. And then introduce the situation of the research.Part3presents the difference between junior-high-school-boys and junior-high- school-girls on classroom misbehaviors.Part4analyzes the classroom misbehaviors which happened on junior high school students and the cause of it under the view of gender. The causes of the difference in classroom misbehaviors include society, teacher, students and family.Part5proposes four solutions to reduce or eliminate junior high school students’ classroom misbehaviors by reducing boys’ export-oriented classroom misbehavior and girls’ inward-looking classroom misbehavior.
