The Research On Quality Assurance Mechanisms In New Generation Migrant Workers’ Occupational Skills Training

Since the reform and opening up, China’s total number of migrant workers are more than200million, and120million among them are from village to city, who are the main force of China’s urban construction. With the development of society, there are great many differences in the backgrounds, values, behavior and other aspects between those old and new generation migrant workers. New generation desire to learn more; have higher career expectations; also have a double marginal:sensitive heart, looking forward to be recognized. It’s essential to the society that take occupational skills training to those young generation migrant workers, helping increasing their own capability for adapting the society. Unfortunately, current occupational skills training does not match the need of those young ones, making those young ones more difficult to adapt to the increasingly fierce competition in the market.Quality assurance mechanisms of occupational skills training for the generation of migrant workers are consist of5parts:quality assurance targets, quality assurance subjects, quality assurance evaluation, quality assurance management, quality assurance information and feedback. At present, the reasons like lack of political system, impact of social mobility, self-limitation of migrant workers and lack of voice have caused a complex situation:training effect and its assurance mechanism are not ideal, training institutions self are not good enough for giving satisfying training to migrant works and supporting policies from government are not complete; quality assurance subjects are not dynamic because society is not fully engaging with quality assurance; quality assurance evaluation approaches are unitary and not well recognized by public; quality assurance management is not effective and lack of pertinent training plans, without improving on training making occupational skills training even harder to get a higher level; at last, the unsmooth run on quality assurance information and feedback also do harm in the effect of quality assurance.In order to make quality assurance mechanism operates effectively, we should clear objectivities of occupational skills training for migrant workers, firmly carry out training plan; let all quality assurance subjects play vital roles in training, perfect the quality assurance evaluation process; enhance the quality assurance management and build smooth approach between quality assurance information and feedback.
