Study On Mechanism That Social Worker Improves Housekeeping Staff's Occupational Skills

This paper mainly studies that under the background that housekeeping service is being developed rapidly,housekeeping staff is not professional enough in occupational skills,who are not able to satisfy the requirements of high quality life,and the trust relationship between housekeeping staff and the employers is getting worse.H,a social institution located at C District B City,performs some social work for the housekeeping staff who works near W Street,C District,by which H knows about housekeeping staff's work status and life status,as well as their occupational skills,difficulties encountered by other housekeeping staff.It is known that housekeeping service in China was developed later than other countries.By now,laws and rules haven't been fully made,people engaging in housekeeping service are not professional in occupational skills and problems encountered by housekeeping service are not highly cared about by the society.Under such a background,H carries out some housekeeping services,which are greatly supported by social workers,volunteers and external teachers.By a series of activities,like occupational skill training for housekeeping staff,team construction and training on living skills etc,ability in housekeeping service is greatly improved.This paper “Mechanism that Social Worker Improves Housekeeping Staff's Occupational Skills” takes the housekeeping service performed by H as the example,analyzes the functions and defects therefrom.Then according to the actual situation of housekeeping service in China,this paper puts forward suggestions for better development of the mechanism.This paper attaches great emphasis to study the significant role and function played by this mechanism.By the professional support given by the social workers,the mechanism can be developed in a better,faster and healthier way.Besides,this mechanism will help to improve housekeeping staff's occupational skills and help them to work in a decent way,so social conflicts can be alleviated and social harmony can be benefited.
