Teen-agers’ tennis is an important part of the tennis sport, the situation of it could influence the development of the tennis sport of our country. The quantity and quality of reserved teen-agers tennis player is the basic element of the developing of tennis and which is not only reflect the current situation of tennis in China but also make a big difference on the sustainable development of tennis of our country.Chongqing, as the youngest centrally administered municipality and the western highland of economic development, guided by "Five Chong", developed rapidly in different field. However, restricted by the weakness of social basis, lacking of facilities and the lagging of training system, the average level of Chongqing’s teen-ager tennis is much lower compared with other province. This article investigated the players, coaches and other related person in Teen-agers’ tennis championships of Chongqing,2009-2011.The author researched deeply of the current situation of teen-agers’ tennis of Chongqing by ways of checking the documents, providing questionnaire survey, interviewing experts and checking the data. As a result, the author presents countermeasure analysis and draws the following conclusions:(1) The current situation of the teen-ager tennis of Chongqing is backward compared with other province. Although the government increased the investment to tennis influenced by the policy of "Healthy Chongqing", the development is still very slow and narrow. The government still doesn’t pay much attention to tennis, which slow down the progress of the performance of tennis, also block the teen-agers’ tennis career.(2) The number of players taking part in tennis game of Chongqing is increasing year by year in recent years. However, the age distribution is unconscionable, most of the players initiated too late and few are initiated in perfect age. The proportion of boys is much bigger than that of girls in the players taking part in tennis games. On the motive part, different age has different feature. Most senior high school students wants to own some advantages in the College Entrance Exams by playing tennis, big proportion of junior high school students aims to take some exercise and fulfill their hobbies and many primary school students would like to become professional players.(3) The average annual costs on tennis of the teen-agers in Chongqing is about10,000yuan, but according to their costs, the training time and frequency of games are barely enough. The lacking of fund is always an important reason that restrict the development of teen-agers’tennis, especially in the rural parts and the poor counties. At the moment, the main training pattern is one coach teach few students. A normal training class in regular school lasts1.5to2hours, but in teen-agers’ physical training school, every tennis training class lasts about4hours and there are5to6training days per week. Most coaches don’t pay much attention to the study of culture and professional theory and don’t have concrete programme and demand.(4) According to the record of the plays enlisted in tennis games in resent years, there’re more and more players attended the games in the name of an individual and they’re trained in family models. This family models are increasingly close to the pattern of foreign countries, which means the model of "Nationally standarised" is gradually fading away. The downtown Chongqing takes the advantages of area, fund and teaching resources, goes ahead to other counties in the developing of tennis projects, especially Shapingba District, which wins the most prize.(5) Most parents that support their children attending tennis sport for the sake of taking some exercises and strengthen physique. They understand tennis or play tennis themselves and know the benefits of tennis. So the propaganda to parents is an important part of teen-ager’s tennis project. Besides, many young tennis players’ families are in good conditions, their parents have great jobs and a high social status.(6)Most coaches in tennis team of Chongqing are full-time trainers, few are part-time coaches, this structure can benefit the development of tennis. But nearly every team have a strong desire to win the game, affected by these motivation, many team eager for quick success and instant benefits which could lead the players invaliding in an early age. This is a vicious circle.(7) The age structure of the teen-agers’tennis coaches in Chongqing is reasonable, which is in proper age, mostly from26to45years old. Their teaching time is about6to9years, which is not long enough. However, they can make up their disadvantages by training themselves. There are joy and sorrow judging their sports experience and level. The joy is most coaches have master’s degree, the sorrow is many of them graduated from college of physical education and don’t have much sports experience. In addition, most coaches in Chongqing owns middle grade positional titles and their qualification certificate is ITF Grade one, they don’t have great abilities to launch researches and don’t have much thesis of high qualities. But many teen-agers’tennis coaches in Chongqing have strong professional dedication, enterprise and desire to advance. They are serous to their training classes, they all have annual, stage, week, and class plans but many of them pay more attention to week and class plans and ignore the importance of annual and stages plans. Which leads to the incomplete and unscientific of the training plans.
